TOday i had my conference i was very surprised on what i got.

i didnt think i did that bad. Well atleast now i know what i did wrong and how to change it.

Like i thought i did add information that didnt go with the topic.

I wasnt as specific as i would of wanted to be. I had a lot of spelling wrong and also punctuation.

My informal one was mostly things that were not underlined or needed more background information.

My mid-level one was more too much information that wasnt relevant. spelling was an issue forme in the mid-level one too. Again underlining the title of the cd and "" in the songs.

My formal one was very bad. I didnt really make my thesis correctly.

I had good background info but not good sources.

Again i had trouble with my punctuation.

I added a lot of information on strippes christina aguileras last cd. I didnt stay focused on the album i was doing my review on. Over all i did bad.

I am definetly going to redo them.

TOday we didnt have class
I have my confrence on monday i am kinda scared to find out what i got on my first college paper. Scary
Today was an easy day no class univ class no english class and no math class.
The only thing i had to do was wake up at 5 in the morning to go take my math test i had to make up.
We had it on thursday but i have lab at that time so the only time they had or i could make it up was at 6:15 in the morning in menard hall which is all the way in the other side of school. sadly i had to wake up my room mate to drive me i felt bad. She is awesome so she was ok with it. It was funny cuz when she woke up that morning she was still sleeping that she crashed in to the wall it was so funny. After that i wasnt sure if i wanted her to drive me there but that hit in the head for sure woke her up. haha
Well i was still asleep and mad cuz i had to take a math test i dont even like math that much. especially to wake up at 5 to do it. ...

TOday we turned in all of our reviews.

Man that was difficult i didnt know it was going to be that hard to thinkg about a cd.

Especially your own opinion. I didnt know how to word my own opinion can you believe that.

I think i added information that i didnt need in my reviews. LIke my informal i think i thought a lot so it sounds fake or rehearsed. My Mid-level is good it not to formal or informal i might have add a little more information that was needed but it was good.

MY formal one was hard it didnt make sense sometimes so i tried to rewrite it but i just got confused. i dont know if i included information that was relevent to my topic.

I was harder to distigushed the changes between all the review. So i really liked this assignment even though it made me have a hard time. I like it so know i know how to write a good review and the different types of reviews.

Tommorow my formal review is due.
I didnt know a lot abount christina aguilera but i did some research and shes had a rough time growing up. Her dad was abusive and he was never in her life. She was very talented when she was little. She even appeared in Star Search when she was 8 she lost, but she said it served her as an experience. She was know for the little girl with a big voice she could really hit high notes.

Well i need to look over my reviews i hope they are correct.

I know i have a lot of mispelled words and sentence structure.

I really like the peer review they make you see it in a different way.

I am glad that we do that because know i have someone who can help me with my spelling and punctuation which i know are kinda no really bad

Today me and my room mate decided we were going to go work out.
Yeah that didnt turn out so good we both got busy and didnt even see each other till like 7.
My room mate is Ashley Anderson. she is so funny i love her.
We have the best time, we both like to have fun and we both like to study.
So everyday we try to study or dedicate a hour or two to studying and reading our books.
I know ashley from Pelican Rapids we both graduated together. We were both coming to NDSU so we decided to be room mates. So far there hasnt been any problems we both get along.
We have played a lot of jokes or just said really funny things to each other. Then funniest has to be the "Its raining cunts and dogs" well so far. It was last week that was ugly outside and we were both laughing so hard and having a good time. My speech or word pronouciation is bad and i had been pronouncing everything wrong the whole day it was funny. It started raining outside and i said its raining cats and dogs and when i said it i have know idea why but i kinda said it in spanish to and it sounded like i said cunts and dogs but i dont think i did. Well from now on every time its raining ashley says " Its raining cunts and dogs Vanessa"

Today i turned in my review. wow was i stressed i didnt know what to do or if i was doing it right or what. The one i had the hardest time with was the informal one i just thought to much about it it sucked. I would try to put in into words that sounded cool or informal something that sounded like i didnt think about it. Just knowing that we had to make it informal i would think about it to muck. The mid-level one was ok I understood that one it made sense on how it was suppose to be written. oh its friday to day finally its been a long week and i am excited to go home and visit my family. Its a big change from being the oldest and the role model to where no one could see what i am doing. but i still try to keep a balance so i know i can have fun and still do my stuff. Wow i am confusing myself i dont know how to explain it. I just know that i am having fun being out of the spot light of everyone and know i can be myself. Which i am still trying to figure out
but that is another story. Well hopefully i did good in my review i think i did Well i hope i did.

Today we did the peer review for the informal and midlevel reviews.
I decided to do mine on christina aguileras Back to Basics
this cd its a combination of everything i like. from Jass blues, hip hop , pop and oldies.
I really like the song "The Right Man" its about what she was going through when she was getting married. How her father wasnt there to walk her down aisle I love how she uses the orchestra in the background its just beautiful. It really is a touching song. I really like it because it about her life not anyone elses it a really good song.

Today is monday this week end was very hard. It made me think a lot of my life and highschool.
My senior i dedicated almost everything to two groups. The Pelican Rapids YOUth Crew, and the Multi-Cultural Collabrotive. The Pelican rapids youth crew involved in doing events to entertain the youth in our community, The Multi-cultural col. what we did there was go to seven different school and talk about our culture. I was very suprised of how closed minded people were. I remember so many racial comments made to us and my peers. I was resposible for the groups we took so i always made sure they were comfortable. there was a time where we were up on a stage and they were all dissing and talking bad about one of my group member his name is momo they werent even asking questions they were telling them like they knew more about there culture then momo did. I was very mad and decided to excuse ourselfs from stage and left. I made sure to tell the principal that i wanst bringing them back i was very very mad. You ask why am i writing this well. In one of the question it asked to write about something that you had writing about and what your were feeling. This is what i wrote. That i liked to teach closed minded people about other cultures and lifestyles.

Today we talked about reviews. I have no idea of what or who i wan to do my review on. I know i want it to be on some one i like and want to learn about.
I would be cool to do it on a spanish singer but know one will know them so.
How about a movie.... which one elf i like elf no its old ummm how about the day after tommorow thats a good movie. no its long i would have to watch it like 20 times.
How bout an album or cd.I need to find a cd every one knows about or atleast heard of
lets see.... I was thinking like a rap singer or hip-hop some one every has heard of. Like P. Diddy no not a lot of people like him or even know him . i guess i will have to look up some singers.

Me and my room mate heard the new christina aguilera cd and i love it i have to do this cd. Its every thing people now her and the songs are awesome. i dont know how i am going to do but i like the cd.

Today is monday aug 28 2006
we just did and assesment. I dont know if what i put for literacy was correct i hope it was.
This class is totally different then what i imagened. Its fun i like what we have been doing so far i guess we will see how i like it after a few weeks. We have an assignment to read pages 2-29 and answer the question on page five. We also turned in our top five list, which was hard because i had never heard of david letterman. so that made it hard i had no idea who or what i was suppose to be writing about so i was confused. So what my room mate ash and me did was watch the show so we can get and idea of what we were suppose to write about. I though i did ok but then again i didnt know what i was doing so....
